Cream Cheese Frosting



2 blocks of cream cheese,
2 sticks of butter,
one bag of powdered sugar
a splash of vanilla.
Let the cheese and butter come to room temp before mixing

Cream butter and sugar for 2 minutes.  Add Cream cheese in 8 pieces, incorporating well after each.  Add rest. 

Alternative using honey from food.com:

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, can use Neufchatel
  • 14 cup softened butter
  • 14 cup honey
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. grated lemon peel or 1 tsp. orange peel, omit if using vanilla extract
